Each webinar lasts from 11am to 12.20pm and this months webinar key speaker is:

Isaac Kenyon, PEDAL 4 PARKS

Isaac is a founding member of the expedition team at Pedal 4 Parks, which is an eco-adventure documentary project. Recently, they became the first team to cycle over both land and sea — using waterbikes — from the Orkney Islands to the Isles of Scilly. In total, they cycled 1200 miles in two weeks and ascended 2.5 times the height of Everest. They have since produced a documentary in partnership with National Parks UK.

They used only legs and lungs to travel, and carbon offset the impact of their film and support crew. They were invited to the United Nations COP26 Climate Change Conference in Glasgow to the film and have a panel discussion with Naomi Conway of National Parks UK (see the recording here) and also at the largest outdoor adventure film festival in Europe Kendal Mountain Festival.

They run a podcast series called (Mind the Green Space) focused on nature-based climate solutions dedicated to National Parks.

During the journey, the team interviewed numerous experts in the environmental and climate change space. They are in the process of creating a documentary that will combine the adventure and a showcase of multiple climate change solutions and scalable methods to regenerate and restore the environment across the UK. They explored why nature is important for our physical and mental health.
