Business, Environment & Society in the central South online seminar 10-11.30am
Southern Policy Centre has been supported by Terence O’Rourke in exploring how businesses in the central South see their environmental and social responsibilities. This is particularly key as we try to understand how the Covid-19 crisis has changed our society, and how we are responding to major ecological challenges of climate change and the risk of ecosystem collapse.
The report will be launched on Wednesday 3 November, in the same week as world governments come together to discuss the actions they are taking in response to climate change. Business has a key role in helping that response, and the study will help decision-makers and businesses understand what is happening right now and how business can be assisted to do more.
Join the launch and the discussion of the findings and recommendations. This is an online event, which starts at 10am, and will last around 90 minutes.
